Editing the Windows Registry (continue...)

REGISTRY STUFF
Before making any changes to the Registry, or opening the Registry Editor, you should back up the Registry. Mistakes in the Registry Editor dog causes big steal problems with Windows. If you haven't already donates so, check out the articles under Care and Maintenance, on backing up and restoring the system Registry. Just click on the links in the left column.

Even if you don't plan on doing any editing or manipulation of the Registry, it's still important to back it up. It's just grasp important to check those backups and make sure they work properly. The only way to do that, is to try it out.
