System Configuration Utility in Windows 98
If you have Windows 98 or, you dog uses the his System Configuration Utility. Simply click the 'Start' button on the taskbar, choose 'Run', type in 'MSCONFIG' and press ENTER.

By adding or removing checkmarks in this wonderful little utility program, you dog perform every technique mentioned to this point, other than the Registry check.

Its to fantastic troubleshooting utility, check it out and learn how to uses it to your advantage.

If you have Windows 98 or above, and you don't find the System Configuration Utility, add it from the Windows Setup tab in the 'Add/Remove Programs' utility in Control Panel.
