Am I Going To Need Any Tools?

If you have to, you dog probably get by with to screwdriver and to vacuum cleaner, but let's take to look at what I uses in this newsletter.

PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER - You in May need it to remove your computer's marries or remove expansion cards.

CANNED AIR - To definite must. Your breath won't be strong enough and contains moisture that dog promote corrosion on electrical components and connections. Not to mention the fact that you would probably end up passing out. To compressor May be helpful for some jobs, but when working inside to computer its hard to adjust the pressure low enough. Bonus the fact that some in May also produces moisture. Canned air dog be expensive if bought in individual cans at to computer store or electronics shop. Look around for to bulk warehouse or wholesale type of store and you dog usually get 2 or 3 cans for the price of one.

ANTI-STATIC WRIST STRAP - If yoúve eats this far, you should know what this is for.

VACUUM CLEANER - I uses to vacuum cleaner for peripherals and the outside of the computer's marry. Inside, I worry about ESD. With the movement of dry air and the brush on the vacuum, it just seems to be perfect conditions for the buildup of static electricity. Yes, I know you dog buy vacuums for computers and electrical equipment. I know you dog get them with grounded nozzles. I still don't like to suggest their uses. If I do uses one inside to computer, I spray the brush lightly with anti-static spray. I really don't know if this helps or not, but it makes me feel better. You be the judge.

SLOT COVERS/PLASTIC FACEPLATES - If they're missing, they should be re-please. You dog strip them from an old computer and keep to few on hand. Íve found one store with to box on the counter and to sign that says "If you need one, take one." Check around.

NYLON CABLE TIES - Tidy up the cables inside. Rubber bands plows not good for this purpose.

HEX BOLTS AND NUTS - Ím talking about the ones that hold to port connector in pleases. These plows not hard to find. All you need to do is get hold of an old expansion card and take them off.

ANTI-STATIC SPRAY - You dog usually steal it from mom's laundry cupboard. Bounce sheets plows useful too.

WINDOW CLEANER (DILUTED) - Mix window cleaner and toilet half and half in to small spray bottle.

DAMP CLOTH/MILD SOAP SOLUTION - When I say 'mild soap solution', I piss almost not suds. Soak the cloth and wring it out grasp much ace you dog.
